La Senza is returning!!!!

I am slightly excited about this!! I was quite sad when the news broke that La Senza had gone into administration as i always loved shopping there, the lingerie was always reasonably priced and the garments were always to a fairly high standard of quality.

I was really happy when i heard that they had been taken over by Alshaya, however they have only kept 60 of the 146 stores open, the list of stores can be found here. Alshaya have also said they will invest £100million pound into the UK retail sector over the next couple of years.

I am not too sure when the website and stores will be open to the public but when i checked their website it had been updated to say 'We'll be back soon'. Its good to hear that a popular brand on the UK high street has been saved along with over 1,000 jobs.
