Olympic Fashion!

Well the Olympics came to a close last night and the Fashion was one of the highlights of the night! There was a great feature where British fashion was celebrated, when a number of Fashion models came to stage wearing all Gold!!

Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell both wore Alexander McQueen gowns, Karen Elson was in Burberry, Stella Tennant in Christopher Kane, also in the Fashion parade was Lily Cole, Georgia May Jagger, Lily Donaldson and Jourdan Dunn.

Then there was the Spice Girl! The moment everyone was waiting for last night, and they were just incredible!! All looked amazingly fashionable, especially Victoria Beckham (of course) wearing a Giles Deacon creation.

It hasn't just been the closing ceremony that has showcased some great outfits, the Team GB uniforms were designed by Stella McCartney which was brilliant, Giorgi Armani also designed the kit for Italy, so this years Olympics were very fashionable!

Not only are the competitors looking good in their sport but they are also turning up the style stakes off tr field too, one athlete I'm sure you have heard of, our Golden girl heptathlon competitor Jessica Ennis was spotted in a gorgeous Coral Alexander McQueen dress a few nights ago from the SS12 collection for £449. Jessica Teams this lovely dress with a simple black belt. She is our Golden girl on and off the field!

Then the Duchess of Cambridge was also sporting a number of gorgeous dresses, during the opening ceremony she wore a lovely Christopher Kane dress
- closing ceremony she wore a Whistles 'Bella' dress which she also wore to the jubilee concert, i love this blue print dress, i have found a similar one on the Whistles website - Bella Camo Leopard Print dress for £150 which isn't a bad price! I do love how she recycles her clothes makes her seem like a normal person, and she always looks good!

I really enjoyed the Olympics i was hooked, i never thought i would be, but now i cant wait for the Paralympics and then Rio in 2016!!!

Kelly Brook - Magnum London Event

Did you all see the pictures of Kelly Brook at the Magnum event in London, wasn't her dress gorgeous? The colour was lush! I really want that dress! I have found this Alexander McQueen dress which is similar to the one she wore and maybe the same dress only different colours, it is a bit pricey at £1,395 so a little out of my price range!! Kelly teamed her dress with a red belt which helped to show off her amazing hour glass figure. I am also loving her new dark locks!

Marylon Tailored Pleat Dress
I have found this Tracie 3/4 sleeve Ribbed Skater dress from BooHoo for only £20!! So it is a bargain, it is available in Berry, Black or Mocha. All you need is a waist belt to recreate Kelly Brook's look. This Embellished Jewel Front Belt would be a nice addition from Warehouse for £25.00

How about this Rosewood Basic Jersey Skater dress from New Look for only £11.99.

There is this Marylon Tailored Pleat dress from Miss Guided, currently £13.79 in the sale, Miss Guided has a nice collection of Skater dresses so it is definitely a website i would recommend if you are looking for this style of skirt.

Girl Meets Dress - Dress Hire

I've just found this great website (Girl Meets Dress) where you can hire out designer dresses for parties or special occasions and then return them, instead of forking out a fortune to buy the actual dress! If only i had a 'special occasion' to attend then i would definitely take advantage of this service.

You don't even have to sign up as a member and there is no joining fee, you just pay for hiring the dress. You can order weeks or months in advance and they deliver anywhere in the UK, even providing emergency next day service (just in case someone has the same dress!!)

There are a range of designer outfits available from Miu Miu, Alexander McQueen, Nina Ricci and many more! Check out the A-Z list of designers here.

You can hire out this Krystof Strozyna Orange Sand Dress the same dress worn by Cheryl Cole, and it will only cost you £49 to hire for 2 nights! Instead of paying the £900 price tag!

They even have a selection of bags, so you can be like Carrie Bradshaw's assistant Louise in the Sex and the City Movie and have a different designer bag ever couple of days!

So now you can dress like the stars! So go check it out!

Alexander McQueen - Swarovski Crystal Union Jack Clutch

Whilst doing the usual Internet 'Window Shop' i cam across this amazing Alexander McQueen Swarovski Crystal Union Jack Clutch on Matches Fashion, i love the skull clasp it adds a bit of quirkiness to the design, and of course it is all about Great Britain this year with the Jubilee and the Olympics so the Union Jack design is great. It does however cost £1,295 so a little out of my spend level!

There is a slightly cheaper Alexander McQueen Union Jack Clutch clutch in a similar design except the colours match the Union Jack red, white and blue. This one only costs £895 and although it still looks amazing i still prefer the Red Swarovski Crystal version.

This Queen of the Nile Clutch by Kate Spade is so cute, i love the camel clasp, its very different and unique and works well with the gold. It costs £221.63 but is only available from Bloomingdale's website in the US.

New Look have a nice little clutch for £44.99 which is available in either black or silver, the Religion Knuckle Disaster Clutch has a nice clasp which is a crown and diamante combination.

Now something a bit more affordable is the Union Jack Clutch for £20 from Totes to Amaze which is a great website with a nice selection of glam bags at reasonable prices, so i would definitely go check this out as it is a brilliant site.
