Kelly Brook - My new girl crush??

I think many would agree that Kelly Brook is gorgeous! She always looks beautiful whether it is on the red carpet or popping to the shops, i really do envy her. She is naturally beautiful and has amazing curves.

I just loved the outfit she wore to the BAFTA's, the Chantilly Lace dress by Jacques Azagury, i loved the style, the lace detail was gorge, she definitely went down a hit at the event, showing off her perfectly tanned legs in this beautiful sunshine!

Not only is Kelly gorgeous on the red carpet she is also a keen business woman! She has recently revealed her new range at New Look, which may i add is brilliant, i love the whole collection, my favourites are these Pink and Floral Print Peep Toe Court shoes for only £24.99 and you can even get a matching bag again only £24.99. But what about this amazing Red Spot Pencil skirt, great for mixing things up when your sorting your work wardrobe out! There is also a Kelly Brook Lingerie and swimwear collection at New Look so go check them out!

Kelly Brook also has a Homeware Collection at Argos!! Which includes some pretty bed spreads and cushions.

Kelly has just launched her band new website, so i definitely recommend checking it out, www.kellybrook.com

Pencil Skirts

Since the sun is now shining the skirts are making an appearance! Unfortunately my favourite black pencil skirt broke (the zip broke) so i was not a happy bunny!!! So i have started to look for a replacement, i am however looking for something a little different to a simple black skirt.

I have found this lovely Kelly Brook Red Spot Pencil skirt from New Look for £24.99 and it is gorgeous, the colour is nice and i love the polka dot print. Kelly Brook has a really nice collection at New Look at the moment, so i would definitely recommend checking it out!

Kelly Brook Red Spot Pencil Skirt

How about this Light Beige Midi Textured skirt from River Island for only £18.00 the colour is nice and neutral so is quite refreshing for spring.

Photographic Print Pencil Skirt
This Photographic Print pencil skirt is really nice from ASOS for £20.00, this is definitely different from a plain black skirt, i would probably team it with a plain blouse and some peep toe heels, making a stand out outfit.

This Jade Peplum Pencil skirt from Dorothy Perkins is very on trend with the peplum waist, i like this as it is nice and simple but the colour is great and not to over powering.

My top dresses for Summer!

Hasn't the weather been amazing this week!!!! Definitely time to get the Summer wardrobe out! I have been looking at all the summer dresses available at the moment and i have picked out a few of my favourite.

Coral Lace Dress
1. Coral Lace Dress £45.00 from Miss Selfridge
This Coral dress is my favourite of the 5 i have selected , i love the colour and the cut out section. You can never go wrong with lace.

This AX Paris Yellow Crotchet Detail dress is available from New Look for only £21.00 which is a bargain, the colour is very summery, i love the cut out detail around the waist, it adds a nice simple bit of detail.

White Poppy Print
White Poppy Print Dress £24.99 from New Look
I found this dress on New Looks website, i do like most of their dresses, they always have beautiful prints, but this one was my favourite, i like all the colours, it reminds me of the flowers when they bloom in spring!

How cute is this Turquoise/Pink midi dress from Dorothy Perkins, i just love the flamingo print, the length of the dress is quite good as it is not too short. It only costs £39.50

This Tropical Print Silk dress from Warehouse is very loud and just might be my favourite!! The print and colours just make me think of going on holiday, it does cost £65 so it is the more expensive dress i have selected but i think it would be worth it.

Feathery Fashion

Over the last few days some celebs have been spotted wearing feathery fashion, Beyonce and Cheryl Cole to name a couple! If i am honest i wasn't too keen on Beyonce's Givenchy Haute Couture dress at first but it has grown on me slightly, i think that what put me off was that it revealed to much? Cheryl's Stephane Rolland dress on the other hand was gorgeous, i love the white and red contrast, it is very demure and sophisticated.

Which did you prefer?

This has started making me think about what feathery fashion is available out there, i found a couple of things. One of which is this Premium Full Feather Skirt for £80 from Topshop it is very eye catching, I'm not sure i would be able to pull this off?

This McBerry One Shoulder Lace & Feather dress would be more my style although it is a bit more pricey, costing £250 on the Designer Desirables website.

This Lipsy VIP Waxed Lace Feather dress is gorgeous, i like that the feathers are not too overpowering, it makes the dress look more delicate.

If you are not a fan of wearing feathered clothing why not use some feathered accessories such as this Nude Feather bag from ASOS for only £25. How about splashing a bit of colour with these Sarisa Tribal Earrings for only £5.99 at Miss Guided (bargain), or for a bit more sophistication why not try these Glamorous Feather Chandelier Earrings from Miss Selfridge for £18.50

Colour Block Heels

Elissia Purple Colour Block
I'm really liking Colour Block heels at the moment especially in pastel colours, there are quite a few colour variations out there at the moment, i have selected a few of my favourites:

Elissia Purple Colour Block Platform heels from Boohoo for £30.00 i love the pastel colours on this shoe.

Natural Colour Block Platform heels from Debenhams for £50.00 this has nice neutral simple colours.

Colour Constrast Suede Heels from AX Paris for £32.99, a lot like the pair from Boohoo i love the colour combo, they could brighten any outfit up.

Now lets not forget the brightest of them all!! The shoes Cheryl Cole was wearing in her video 'Call My Name' - the Brian Atwood Alima Neon Pumps for only £670 which i have mentioned in a previous blog.

Patriotic Fashion

2012 is a very British year with the Olympics and the Queens Jubilee, so it is great to see some fashion brands are flying the flag for Britain by releasing some clothing/shoes etc with Patriotic prints and slogans!

Just today i came across Dorothy Perkins DP London range which include printed T-shirts such as this London Eye Tee for £18.00, which is a great price. They also have some Union Jack wellies for only £23.00, now that is very British!!! I love it!! Lets not forget that us Brits love a cuppa, and Dorothy Perkins have picked up on that with these novelty 'My Cup of Tea' socks  for £2.50

New Look have also got a range called 'Cool Britannia' which includes this London Bus Print vest for £12.99, also this Union Jack umbrella for £7.99 (will be a must have with the British Summer!!) Perhaps if the weather is more forgiving then why not try this Abbey Dawn Union Jack Bikini, its great for £34.99

I found a website called Chockers Shoes which has some nice Union Jack print heels such as these 'Churchill' hells for only £35 which is a bargain!!

Animal Print Shoes

I love Amanda Holden's eye catching Leopard print shoes which she wore a few weeks back at one of the Britain's Got Talent auditions. I really like an animal print. I have had a look for some alternative animal print shoes which look just as good as Amanda's.

Lets start at the highest end of the cost scale with these amazing Charlotte Olympia Heels at Net-a-Porta which cost £740 but they are so beautiful i love the duck egg blue wedge. (p.s Cheryl Cole has been spotted wearing these whilst in Paris, teaming them with a leopard print dress by Ksubi available at Net-a-Porta for £320.

How about these Pinki Leopard Print sandals from Kandee Shoes which cost £170, they are very different from the usual animal print colour.

These Orange Leopard Print Embellished Court shoes from River Island have an animal print with a twist, they have some golden studs and spike detail which make them very quirky and different to the usual animal print.

Check out these Abbey Dawn Leopard Peep toe creations that i found at Very for £97, the great thing about buying from Very is that you can choose to buy now pay later!!

But i think my favourite place to buy animal print heels has to be Dorothy Perkins, they have a great selection, including these Leopard Satin Court Shoes for £38 or these Leopard Print Platform Courts for £65

Cheryl Cole - Brian Atwood Alima Neon Shoes

Alima Neon
I finally found Cheryl Cole's Neon heels!! They are lush, i love them, they are by Brian Atwood - Alima Neon Patent-Leather Pumps. Cheryl wears these gorgeous heels in her music video 'Call my name'.They cost £670 on the Net-A-Porta website, which would probably break my bank balance, so i have attempted to look for some similar alternatives.

I found a great website for shoes recently, 'Kandee Shoes' which has some great creations, and great for finding neon shoes!!! These Apple Sours shoes are great and only cost £140.

How about these lovely pink slingback peep toe heels from River Island which only cost £60, i love the yellow heel on this shoe, this would go really nice with the reliable LBD.

These Krazy Paving Neon shoes from Office are also a great pair of shoes (see my previous blog on these brilliant shoes) They only cost £78.00

Cheryl - Call my name - Altuzarra Blazer

Cheryl's new video has finally been revealed and not surprising she is wearing some nice clothes.

One of my favourite pieces is the floral/bird blazer she wears which i think i may have found (or one similar) on the Browns Fashion website (see here) it is an Altuzarra creation although it does cost £995 so slightly pricey, so i have found a couple of more bank friendly options:

The first of which is this Black Floral Printed jacket from Debenhams for £35 - so definitely a more cheaper option put i think it needs more colour.

Another nice alternative is this Crafted Printed Blazer from Republic costing only £20 in the sale!!

This Glamorous Floral Trim blazer is pretty cute too, it is plain on the outside but has a really nice inside and trim. This is available from Bank Fashion for £35.00

However this Tropical Print Blazer has to be my favourite one, i love the colour and the pattern is so feminine. It only costs £28.00 from Ax Paris.

Why not check out Cheryl's new video for Call My Name and see what you think of her outfits?

Curvy Kate Lingerie

I have just discovered this amazing website (Curvy Kate Lingerie) which has bra's for the more curvier ladies, they have cup sizes from D-K, which is perfect for me!! They also have matching underwear from sizes 8 - 22 (UK).

The styles available are really nice i would definitely recommend visiting the website to check out all the styles. My favourite one is Angel Bluebell/White which is from their Spring/Summer 2012 collection.

The Lingerie is available at a number of stockists, both online and in store, the online retailers include New Look, Very.co.uk, Littlewoods (I'm hoping they will have them in store soon though as i shop at New Look often). There is a list of UK stores which do have them in stock too, check the list out here.

You can follow Curvy Kate on Twitter (@curvykate) for updates on their range.

Frill Dress by 'Oh My Love' at Topshop

I really like this Frill Dress from Topshop, the colour is very summery, the frills really add a nice simple detail.

The dress is only £39.00 from the 'Oh My Love' collection at Topshop. Although please note that this dress is part of Topshops Concession Collection so can only be returned to their website not to a store.

Although the Concessions Collection is only available online they do have some really nice items available, why not check it out here.

Whilst i was browsing the Topshop website i did stumble across these Whamm Mega Layer Wedges which i think would go nice with the Frill dress, they are a nice pink colour and cost £65.00
